Refund policy
Change of Mind Returns (14 Days)
For change of mind returns, you may return your item within 14 days of physically receiving your order, provided that:
- The product is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging
- All labels, seals, and tags are intact
- The product has not been used (no fur, saliva, odours, or visible wear)
- The product is not a food, treat, or grooming consumable (these cannot be returned once received, for hygiene reasons)
Please note, a 10% restocking fee applies to all change of mind returns. Customers are also responsible for the shipping cost associated with returning the item(s).
To initiate a return, please email contact@readysteadypets.com.au with your order number and any other supporting details. After reviewing your request, we will provide you with the return address and other necessary instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as they may not be accepted without prior approval.
Please also note, the shipping costs for your original order are non-refundable.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the item is faulty, has arrived damaged, or is not what you ordered, please email us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos or video of the issue. In these cases, we will cover return shipping and offer a replacement or full refund.
Returns to Sender
If your order is returned to us because of an undeliverable address, non-collection, or refusal to accept delivery, a 20% restocking fee will apply and original shipping costs will not be refunded. We recommend double-checking your delivery address at checkout to avoid this.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to display the refund in your account.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure, is not as described, or is not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as required by law.
